Searching for Files

Searching for files on Feed My Wii could not be any easier. Click the “Search for Files” option on the member’s home page and you are taken to the search screen.

In the screen shot below I search for the word “Wii” and was presented with 2,458 downloads! I then clicked to download a random file and was given a list of options where I wanted to download the file from.

Once I’d chosen where to download the game from, the download software I installed earlier automatically opened and started the download.

What really impressed me was the speed in which the file downloaded. Within minutes the file was downloading at around 220kbps, but when I check again 10 minutes later I was achieving almost 500kbps a second.

Once the Wii game was downloaded I managed to burn the files (provided in ISO format) to a DVD which could then be played on my Wii.
